Yellow Sweet Clover

As part of the legume family, Yellow Sweet Clover is an ideal source for green manure if you have a large planting area that needs its soil reworked and enriched.  It has a sweet smell, bitter taste and can be toxic if it begins to mold.  Bees love this plant and can help in nearby pollination.  Because it is typically used a green crop to provide nutrients into a overworked ground Yellow Sweet Clover will grow in all soil types.
