Wooly Thyme

Not to be mistaken with culinary thyme, Wooly thyme still have fragrant but not edible leaves.  It’s fuzzy leaves and sprawling habit make this perennial a great choice for a rock garden.  It is a very forgiving plant therefore try planting some between flagstones on a walkway.  Trimming will keep it tidy but generally this plant is simple to grow.  Divide in the Spring or Fall to give you more plants to spread around.
