Stunning flowers yet difficult to grow.

  • Flowers: White, yellow, green, orange, red, burgundy and blue. Blooms every few months for 2 to 3 weeks.
  • Soil/Potting Preference: A coarse mix of fir bark with 2½ to 3½cm pieces of bark, perlite and charcoal. Prefers a clay pot or cedar basket.
  • Watering: Soak roots once daily then allow to dry out.
  • Fertilizing: Use ¼ to ½ strength weekly in Spring and Summer; every 2 weeks Fall and Winter.
  • Light Requirement: High to very high light levels with 3 or more hours direct light.
  • Temperature Requirements:
  • Night Time Minimum: 18°C
  • Day Time Maximum: 35°C
  • Humidity Requirements: 70 to 80%
