Tickseed

With it’s bright long lasting, daisy-like blooms Tickseed varieties include upright or sprawling cultivars.  Birds, especially Goldfinches, love feasting on the seed heads so if you don’t mind it self seeding leaving the spent blooms on the plant will encourage your feather friends to visit. This wildflower is native to North, Central and South America and can be divided every 2-3 years in the Spring.
