Through the Garden Gate- House #5

The wide front bed with it’s perennials, ferns, lilacs, crabapples and Japanese maple is absolutely stunning to look at and provides plenty of privacy from the street.  But it’s the view in the back that provides the “wow” factor.

A gorgeous stone patio and deck overlook an expansive lawn that sweeps down to the amazing lakeside view.  Curvy raised beds on the west side of the house showcase similar plant material as well incorporates a lot of reused and  stone. The owners have done alot of renovating and overhauling of their garden in the past 15 years and always tried to recycle any of the stones to keep the garden balanced and fresh.  Their plant choices have been heavy in the white shades and because of regular visits from local deer they have had to replace some of their shrubs with less tastier boxwood.
