Through the Garden Gate- House #14

This gorgeous garden is perfectly low maintenance and drought tolerant since the owners spend most of their summer away.  Hardy perennials, zebra grass, creeping junipers, dogwoods, weigela, boxwood and hostas are planted in terraced gardens and bordered along the south side of the driveway leading to the back.

A custom made wrought iron gate opens up to a shady back garden with bleeding hearts and ferns. ‘Mom’s Midnight Garden’ is a sunken stone walled area that is dedicated to the owners mother who died of cancer.

A small pond is tucked away in the corner and is surrounded by more dogwoods and false cypress.  Even the neighbours shed is beautifully camouflaged with plant life.
