BouquetI celebrated my 33rd birthday last week and got a beautiful surprise.  My wonderful boyfriend sent me at work a gorgeous bouquet of flowers.  The display consisted of peonies, mums, ferns, alstroemeria, bells of Ireland, and my absolute favourites, lilies.

Surrounding one end of the iris beds are the gorgeous peony gardens. Consisting of herbaceous ancestral and tree varieties these beautiful plants are in full bloom and quite a spectacular site to see.

The Festival runs from June 6 to June 14th with the weekends consisting of live music, art sales, guided tours, children’s events and much more. Don’t miss it!
