Orange Blossom

The Orange Blossom was created back in the times of Prohibition when the gin was too harsh to drink straight and they needed something to make it more palatable. Given it's time of inception you can consider this drink to be the parent of the screwdriver we drink today.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz gin
  • 1 oz orange juice
  • 1 tsp superfine sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the gin, orange juice, and sugar in a shaker half-filled with ice cubes.
  2. Shake well, and strain into a cocktail glass.

Dry Martini

Dry Martini

It's the murky olive brine that is added to your martini that makes it "dirty".

Ingredients

  • 3 oz. gin
  • 1 tsp olive brine
  • 2-3 olives
  • 5-8 ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Chill your martini glass.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice, gin and olive juice. Shake vigorously for 6-10 seconds.
  3. Strain into the glass and garnish with olives on a toothpick.
