Swiss Chard


Not only is this vegetable delicious sauteed in dishes, added to soups and stews or on it’s own as a heart healthy salad this member of the beet family is also a beautiful plant to have in your garden. With large bright leaves and vibrant red stems Swiss Chard has a lenghtly growing season and benefits from continuous harvesting.  Both the leaves and stems can be eaten and contain high amounts of Vitamins A, K and C.
