Scabiosa

Also known as the Pincushion Flower this Africian, European and Asian native is a nectar rich perennial guaranteed to attract birds, butterflies and bees to your garden. Lengthy stems are topped with deeply coloured domed stamens that are great for cut flowers.

Divide Scabiosa every 3-4 years in the Spring.  Make sure you deadhead spent blooms to prevent self seeding.
