Produces beautiful, large and abundant flowers in a trillium-like placement.

  • Flowers: White, green, yellow, brown, pink, and red. Blooms once a year for about 2 weeks.
  • Soil/Potting Preference: A fine mix of fir bark with ½ to 1 cm pieces of bark, perlite and charcoal. Moss can be added to help retain moisture. Prefers a plastic pot.
  • Watering:
  • Active Growth: Keep moist at all times.
  • Dormancy:Stop watering when pseudobulbs start to shrivel then only water to prevent further drying.
  • Fertilizing:
  • Active Growth: Use 1/8 to ¼ strength weekly.
  • Dormancy: Do not fertilize.
  • Light Requirement: High light levels with at least 4 hours of sunshine.
  • Temperature Requirements:
  • Night Time Minimum: 10°C
  • Day Time Maximum: 29°C
  • Humidity Requirements: 50 to 60%
