One of the easiest orchids to grow.

  • Flowers: White, pink, green, red, yellow, orange, bi-color, spotted and speckled. Blooms year round.
  • Soil/Potting Preference: A coarse mix of 2½ to 3½ cm pieces of bark, perlite and charcoal. Prefers a plastic pot.
  • Watering:
  • Active Growth: Keep roots moist.
  • Dormancy: Allow medium to partially dry out between watering.
  • Fertilizing:
  • Active Growth: Use full strength fertilizer weekly.
  • Dormancy: Use full strength fertilizer every 2 weeks.
  • Light Requirement: High light levels with 3 hours or more of direct light.
  • Temperature Requirements:
  • Night Time Minimum: 10°C
  • Day Time Maximum: 32°C
  • Humidity Requirements: 60 to 70%
