Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large of boiling water cook the cabbage leaves 2 minutes and then drain.
In a large bowl combine the ground beef and ground pork.

Add the rice, egg, milk and minced onion.

Add the garlic, salt and pepper.

Mix everything together well. While it may be a bit gross using your hands is the best method for really mixing this well.

Place a cabbage leave on your work surface.

Add about 1/4-1/2 cup beef mixture to one side in the center.

Fold over one half turn.

Fold over both sides.

Carefully finish rolling up to the opposite end.

Place the rolls seam side down in a casserole dish. They will all be nice and snug together which helps in keeping them from unraveling.

In another bowl combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, and worcestershire sauce.

Pour over the cabbages making sure they are well covered.

Bake in your preheated oven 55-60 minutes or until meat is cooked and sauce is bubbly. Serve two per person and spoon a generous amount of sauce over top.
