Heather Lang consides herself a multi-faceted individual; a Jack-of-all-trades.  She graduated in 1997 from Cambrian College in Sudbury, Ontario with a diploma in Horticulture.  “I figure if I can grow stuff in Sudbury I can grow stuff anywhere.”

She has worked in various greenhouses and landscaping companies before returning to school and becoming a Medical Laboratory Assistant. ” I work in Microbiology so I’m still growing things; bacteria, fungus, micro-organisms.”  She shares her gardening knowledge with her coworkers by writing a quarterly article called The Green Thumb for her workplace newsletter.

Heather has also completed a Personal Chef program which she experiments with on her friends and family, much to their delight.

She currently lives in Toronto with her boyfriend and two plant eating cats Ozzy and Daisy.
