Today we take a moment to remember,

To remember and thank,

All the soldiers who have fought for our freedom,

For our country.

They are mothers and fathers,

Husbands and Wives,

Sons and Daughters.

They are our friends and neighbors.

War effects us all, the young

And the old.

And while each and every day we live in our free country we should remember,

Remember and thank,

For this is our day to put aside our insignificant troubles and honor those brave and wonderful men and women.

Lest we forget.
